Fort Union: Everything to Know About Our Newest Location

Löyly started in Orem. Then came Downtown Salt Lake. Now the third chapter: Fort Union, in Midvale, bringing authentic Finnish sauna and chlorine-free cold plunges to the middle of the Salt Lake Valley.

7198 S Union Park Ave, Midvale, UT 84047, at the Shops at Fort Union: directly north of Momentum Climbing and Dick's Sporting Goods, on the back side of Image Studios, with parking right out front. If you've just finished a climbing session at Momentum, you are a ninety-second walk from the best recovery tool in the valley. That's not an accident.

What's inside

The full Löyly experience: social sauna with proper löyly, silent sauna for genuine quiet, individual cold plunges at 41°F, 46°F, 51°F, and 56°F with our no-chlorine water system, plus changing rooms, lockers, showers, and rinse stations. As always: no appointments, no time limits, walk in and stay as long as you want.

Löyly Littles: the parent unlock

Fort Union is home to Löyly Littles, our supervised childcare program, and honestly it might be the most requested thing we've ever built. Here's how it works:

• For kids 3 months to 11 years old, while a parent or guardian is in the spa.
• Appointments run 30–90 minutes and can be booked up to 2 weeks ahead. Reservations required.
• Drop-in rate: $7 per visit for ages 3 months–2 years, $5 per visit for ages 2–11. Monthly option: $30 per child.
• It's more than supervised playtime: activities, crafts, and story time keep kids engaged while you get your rounds in.
